Hello to you all. I have missed you soo much. I have been trying to get back into the swing of things after my ordeal. So i have come to the conclusion that everyone can be fab. We all have our off days but, they should be slim to none. We must make time for ourselves no matter what. I can't afford to get a mani/pedi every week or two but, I will stock up on some polishes that I love and I can mani/pedi every 3-4 days if I want to! As far as those feet... a must. It is just something about them that will really boost your confidence and complete a pair of shoes. Get you a drug store foot soaker and think of how much money you will save and you can touch your feet the way you want to. I am all about saving a penny or more. So take that and work on your pennies.

It was hot as who heck today! There was a heat advisory and there was some rain. It was also my first day back to work. I must say when you have a job you love, you love going to work! I had a blast today. Just being able to see all of my children, brought a smile to my face. I smiled so much today that my face hurt after I got off work. So you should all look into that. A JOB YOU LIKE. Other than that I am back in the swing of things and learning how to hold my own AGAIN. I took the trash out today and checked the mail. I know, I should be used to that by now but, I am not. If I don't do it, I know the next person through the door will. Any who.... I cooked. Yes after about two weeks, something has hit the stove and I wasn't a Lysol wipe! So that is my thank you to my baby for taking care of me. That is all for today. Monday!

Well, Well, Well! The dead has risen. I have been out of this world since Tuesday. Let me tell the entire story. I got word on the Friday before last that I would be off for the next entire week. I had already scheduled an appointment to have my wisdom teeth pulled for this Friday that just passed, but the Lord knew I would need more time to recuperate. So time I got off work, I called the oral surgeon and they had already closed for the holiday. So I had to wait until Tuesday after the 4th. Well it was all the God hands after that. I called Tuesday to see if they had an opening for Wednesday when my puddin was off and nothing was available except Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. So I hesitated because I did not want to be an inconvenience and the man I love told me to go ahead and let's go. So I had my teeth pulled on Tuesday of last week and have had all week to recuperate. I did have to get up Saturday and Sunday to go to a side job, but I was feeling a little better by then any how. So here it is Monday, time to go back to work. Well let me inform you before I go. When getting anything removed in your mouth, you should stock up on soft foods. Being such short notice, I really did not have time to prepare, but thank God I am always ahead of myself. I had instant grits, tea, yogurt, water, Gatorade and my puddin went and got some mashed potatoes from KFC that I loved with all that gravy. So yes, it also helps to have someone in the house you can call when you don't really need to move. Not only did I find out how much weight you could lose by having oral surgery, but I found out so much more. Have you ever though of what you use just to sit up in the bed. It felt like my face was coming apart! So you should roll over and get out but first with you face down. Then I hated to bend down for anything. I have always used my feet to pick up a lot of things anyway, so you may want to start practicing that. Next get you some Aloe Vera Juice. Talk about fast healing. I feel like a million bucks in less that a week compared to that second day. FYI: if you are having unprotected sex and there is even a small possibility that you could be pregnant, you may want to check before you go under. That medicine will surely inform you afterwards. I DID KNOW I WASN'T PREGNANT! LOL Well, I think that is about all you need for oral surgery info you didn't know you needed.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

ok so it is the 4th of July. I am not doing anything special except going to see the fireworks and take my Little with me. FYI: I have a Little through Big Brothers Big Sisters. A great way to give back. I don't have any children, and the love of children that I have I, this is the best way to give back and be involved in a young persons life. Join your local chapter by going on the website and finding your local chapter and being matched. Any who... Yesterday I only bought one newspaper. There was just P&G coupons in the paper. They were really good coupons if you are looking for health and hygiene products. I went yesterday to get some things from Walmart, Walgreens and Target. It is time for me to go grocery shopping which I will be doing this week. I will be getting my wisdom teeth pulled this week, so I will probably post something everyday. As for today: try to get to the fireworks location early. If you know there will be traffic, go somewhere that they will have a shuttle running ( preferably free). If you know it will be atleast two hours until T-time, pack a snack or plan to eat dinner there. If you have children, act aas though you are taking a trip somewhere far and pack everything. I.E. wipes, tissue, games,etc... Definately pack a camera and some chairs (A MUST).
OAN Dr Oz was really good today. A lot of people seem to be focusing on how we can cook more and save less. I am down for eating at home for $1.00 as opposed to going out and spending $15.00. Being that my money is about to expereince a financial comma, I need to save in every area of living. That is all for today.

Finally Friday

Well, I am glad to say that I am back. I have been without and Internet service for an entire week. I will not name the companies name because they have been a good service thus far. We are back in business now. Well I have a week's worth of info you need to know, so let us get to it.
        For those of you who are 21 and older, when was the last time you had your shots updated? Well, there is a shot that you should be getting after your 21st birthday. They way I found about this shot (can not remember the name) was when I went to get my pap smear and they went down their list of question. They asked if I had been cut open lately and if I would be anytime soon. Just so happen I had been cut open and I will be getting my wisdom teeth removed very soon. According to the nurse, this is a shot that you should receive before undergoing any type of surgery. They told me to ask the oral surgeon if it was needed, so I will do just that. You should too! (well not the oral surgeon, but you get the idea)
         My boyfriend is a firm believer of "anything can be sold". I am slowly but surely coming to the realization that he is RIGHT. When push comes to shove and you need the money and the item was a want and not a need, then it can be SOLD. Usually those items are bought on impulse or on a whim. Things that are planned for, budgeted for and thought about probably will not need to be sold. Like when you get ready to move, what would you sell? The microwave, some shoes (that you don't wear) or your bed? Right the shoes. Wear the ones that you have. I look at all of the clothes in my closet and still on impulse I go out and buy more clothes. I may think they are essentials but, they are just additions. Sooner or later I will be broke!
         

Working Weekend

Like so many other people, I work on the weekends. I don't have to clock in every Sunday but, when duty calls I am there to clean it up. LOL Any way I just recently went in for a Pap Smear and I have not been in about two years. I know right, BAD. Well I have not been sick down there and not working on any children so I figured I was good. So I know that college took a toll on my health for sure, so I just wanted to get everything checked out before I take on anything else in the Fall. So I went in and they asked me the wrong question: Do you have any questions? Well yeah, I do! So I told the Nurse Practitioner that when I take off my bra, they feel like I am carrying a load. They are sore and I have to be gentle with them. She asked if I wear a wire bra, well what woman who wants perky boobs doesn't! So, it's not the bra. Then she asked if I had been consuming large amount of caffeine. Whoa!!!!! FYI: I have been drinking coffee since I could talk, I can down chocolate like nobodies business and tea is my thang! So, yes, I have been OD'n on the caffeine. Her suggestion was try decaf beverages and slack off on the chocolate. I will have to give you an update on that... Feel free to make a comment or suggestion and even state your own concerns.

Almost my bedtime!

I just could not go to bed without posting tonight. I have a Target haul that I need to tell you about. I went and purchased the topical benedryl for less than a dollar each. I had three coupons so I purchased three of those. Then In my clearance isle slowdown I see cups and bowls that I have been eying for a while. I passed them, simply because I was undecided as to if I should buy them. THEN SUDDENLY....I see a set of Sonia Kashuk brushes on CLEARANCE. Just to be clear I never see sets of her brushes in any of the two Target's that I frequent. I had seen a youtuber do a review on these exact brushes with the case and all. It was at least last year when I watched this video. I began my quest online looking for these brushes. Completely out of my price range. So today for $17.99, they became mine. Then to top it off Target had just added a $1.00 off coupon for her brushes. Talk about perfect timing. Then I bought the bowls and cups! lol There is something I would like for you to try. I Love Kroger. Go to Kroger and go to their isle for frozen entrees or frozen dinners. You want to look for there brand dinner in a bag. I just tried the stir fry beef tonight with some quick Uncle Ben's rice and it was less that $8.00 for 2 people or for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. So if you are in the market to buy something that you NEED go to Target and check out there clearance section. Kroger always has great deals too.

Humpday News

OK. So i had some more things that I wanted to share with you from yesterday. I just registered for a couponing class here in Huntsville. I know I am going to love it! Just incase you are wondering if any are offered in your city, check out some of the blogs and even check the news papers. I first saw in ad in the paper two weeks ago and they booked that class so fast! So I book marked the website and just kept check on an opening or another class. I GOT IT!. It is a while from now but I will be sure to keep you posted and bring you some INFO of course. On another note... There is a KY Jelly coupon out there and I just want to enlighten those who may not know. OK the price after the coupon is great! But most importantly the product is great too. I would highly recommend the water based lubricant. It is not as messy, it feels more natural and personally I think it is a little safer than the other kind that is offered. While we are on the subject of "lube", I would like to drop another name brand.... ASTROGLIDE! When I say the bomb, I mean blow up. It feels like its really you down there!!!!! I first saw this brand in the sex novelty shop and then Walmart started carrying it. SO if you are looking for something to use down there try one of these. On the medical side of this... a lot of women struggle with vaginal dryness and you just have to put pride aside and do what is best for you in the long run. Then, there are some women who just need a jump start or maybe even want a little extra. To each it's own. Punch line: I know it has been raining quite a bit, but talk about a wet Wednesday! LOL

O.K.

O.K. I think I am really ready now. This past week was just very unproductive. My boyfriend had to remind me that just because I didn't make it out of the house does not mean that I didn't accomplish anything that day. So just a quick little update. I bought a Sunday paper and there were some pretty good things in there. My paper, however, did not have the store circulars. Like... Walgreens, CVS and a few others were missing. Never the less, I went online and even felt a little green. lol. Next, I want to talk about jobs. Being fresh out of college and not having a full time job YET is scary. Sometimes you have to take baby steps or even think outside of the box. My field of study is Education, but currently I drive a van for a summer camp program. Still dealing with children, but the point is at least I have my foot in the door. You never know what opportunities could come from it. Something else I wanted to touch on really quickly is budgeting. We all need one, enough said for now. Oh Monday!

Hello all! I finally used my Swiffer Sweeper. I used my regular broom to sweep the floor and then went in with the wet sheet on the Swiffer. I love it! It dries fast and you do not have to touch the nasty part that has touched the floor. I did both my kitchen and bathroom with one wet cloth. I think this is a great buy if you need a quick clean up, do not have a lot of traffic in your house or do not have to mop everyday. It also has a really good smell. I did not buy a newspaper this Sunday. I get the emails from other blog and websites that tell me what will be on sale and if coupons apply with those items. I did not need any of those things this week. Not to say that the coupons that were in there won't be useful at another time, but I just did not choose to buy one this week. I am working on some decorating projects, so I wen to Hobby Lobby for a little inspiration and some price checks and then to Hancock where i purchased two fabrics. Hopefully I will figure out SOON how to upload picture that apply to what I am talking about in my post. If there are any items that you would like me to do a review on, please let me know. I will have a review of something that I either use and love, have and have not used or would like to try and it's on sale!

Round 2

Well my day started off great! If you are a couponer, be sure to get out and get your newspapers and start clipping and making your grocery list. I am in the process of decluttering my apartment. I would call it Spring cleaning but it is too hot for that, so I will just call it cleaning! I just purchased a Swiffer Sweeper, yes I have never used one. I have tile flooring in my kitchen and bathroom, so I will be doing a review on that. It has a Good House Keeping stamp but the proof will be on my socks. On another note, just to bring you up to speed I am TRYING to go natural. I think it has been about 14 weeks and I am still going strong. Rocking a flexi rod set and oiling it everyday.
